BIG NEWS!!

MY BABY STARTED WALKING! Thats right, real live little baby steps! We were all down in the living room, Randy had been home from work for about 30 minutes and Austin just stood up where he was and took 5 little steps all on his own! Of course the camera was no where near by so we didnt get any pictures of the actual even but we were all there and wow! He is only 9 months and 1 week old! Can you tell that I'm excited? We tried to get him to do it again later to get some pictures but he wouldnt do it for us. Here is what we ended up with. He kept just dropping to the ground.

I've got another freebie for you today too! Hope you like it.

The flower is so bright & pretty. I can just see it on any scrap in a place of importance, like on a corner of a photo or frame. I linked through AmyW. Love & Happiness. TFS.

Don't you wish you had a camera strapped to your shoulder at all times??!! Someone needs to make an easy-to-use doohicky-thingy (technical term...LOL) that keeps our cameras handy for just this type of miraculous behaviour!! LOL :) Thank you so much for this really unique and fun freebie!

Thanks for the pipe cleaner flower.
I would congratulate you on your 9-month-old's first steps, but all I can say is, "Oh boy - look out!" LOL! My littlest is 6mo, and if he knows what's good for him he'll hold off until he's at LEAST a year!

P.S. I just read all your other comments . . . apparently I'm the only pessimist . . . must come from having 7 kids. Bad habit of mine - let me try again - Congratulations on your little boy's wonderful accomplishment! Hooray for him! :)

Thanks for the cute flower! TFS.

And congratulations (er, I think LOL) on your baby's milestone! It is certainly exciting when they take those first steps! And they seem so proud of themselves! I love those looks, so I would coax him along and encourage him to come to me. But speaking from experience of having a 9 mo old walker (and a 10 month old runner LOL), it is difficult because they don't yet understand their limits and tend to be more into danger. Hold on tight these next few months! So when my 2nd child came along... I held her until she was 11 months old so she would not repeat history! LOL Just kidding! Congratulations on the new upright person in the house!
